   1) The opening Medium shot of the scene shows the audience the background(house, furniture etc. This helps them establish the era that the scene is taking place. From this shot, you can see the expression and how their feeling.  

2) The camera angle at 0:55 is Long shot which shows much more of the clean house which may convey she's professional at her job. Also the lights in the room are lamps which shows how ancient or old the scene is

3) 2:13- The shot in the scene is close up which shows how anxious the character is.

denotations and connotations

 Denotations-  I can see a boy who seems upset or hurt. Behind him there seems to be a hut. The writing says Dig toilets not Graves. The water aid logo suggests that he may be unhealthy. Connotations-  The writing may suggest that this boy and his community may not have toilets to be able to flush or even have the facility of a toilet. The impact of 'not graves' conveys that people are dying because of the lack of water/facilities this boy receives. The use of the white colour of the text may be showing sympathy or peace towards this boy.  Analysis-
